  Benefits of Hydraulic Resistance Exercise

Hydraulic Resistance Exercise (HRE) is based on a circuit of exercise stations, using hydraulic cylinders which provide a "double-positive" resistance. To better understand this, think about the resistance you experience when swimming.

The level of resistance automatically adjusts to your fitness level so as your fitness level increases, so does the level of resistance. The result is a combination of cardio and strength exercise, that matches your level of fitness.


Each exercise machine targets different muscle groups, and with variable resistance settings, members can alternate their routine between a cardio workout and a strenfth workout, or anywhere in between. .A system of interval training is used to go around the circuit.

The idea is to spend 30 - 40 seconds on one station, and then to move to a recovery station for another 30 - 40 seconds.

This system of interval exercise is proven to burn more kilojoules, whilst helping to tone and firm. Results happen quickly with HRE (Hydraulic Resistance Exercise). Within a week, members performing a simple 30 minute workout comment on how much their energy has improved and it isn't long before they begin to feel stronger and see changes.
